Payments and process

How Speato works

Speato brings together two credible businesses for a high quality recorded conversation. Here's how the process unfolds.

  1. Register

    Sign up and tell us about your business, your expertise, and the people from your business you'd like to feature in the conversation. There's no cost to register or to be matched.

  2. We find your match

    We review our network and identify businesses that complement yours. When we find a strong fit, we reach out to both sides with an anonymised overview, enough to see why the match makes sense, without revealing full details.

  3. Both sides approve

    You review the match and decide if you want to proceed. Your potential partner does the same. This is about fit, not obligation. If either side says no, we find another match.

  4. Payment

    Once both sides approve the match, payment is due within 48 hours. We accept payment via bank transfer or card. Full partner details and contact information are released only after both payments have cleared. This protects both parties and ensures real commitment.

  5. The conversation

    You connect directly with your partner and schedule your recorded conversation. We provide guidance on format and timing. Recording is handled via a secure platform. For Introduction and Introduction + Kit, your video and transcripts are available instantly after recording. For Fully Produced, finished edited video, transcripts, and assets are delivered within one week.

  6. Content and results

    You receive finished video, full transcripts, and ready to use content assets. Both businesses commit to publishing the conversation and crediting the partnership within 30 days. These links are earned through genuine collaboration, not purchased, and strengthen both of your online authority.

Payment terms

Pricing and pairing

Pricing is per business, per tier. Each business chooses their own tier. Tiers are Introduction (£150), Introduction + Kit (£450), and Fully Produced (£900). Founding partner pricing applies to early partnerships while we're in launch phase.

Rows show your tier. Columns show your partner's tier. A tick means the two can pair.

Introduction cannot pair with a higher tier, as the quality gap would be too wide for both sides to produce great content.

What if only one side pays?

If only one party pays within 48 hours, the match is placed on hold. We'll follow up with the other party to confirm their commitment. If they don't pay within the extension window, the match is cancelled and the paying party receives a full refund.

Refunds

If a match falls through before the conversation is recorded, a full refund is issued. Once recording has begun, the partnership is considered complete and refunds are not available.
